The project is a linear cognitive city stretching across the northwest of Saudi Arabia, from the mountains of NEOM through desert valleys to the Red Sea. A mirrored form rising 500 meters and just 200 meters wide, it reorganises the traditional flat city into vertically layered communities that put human experience and nature preservation first. The first phase alone holds the built equivalent of 42 Shanghai Towers, with a basement the size of 18 Chicago Post Offices, and it is only a fraction of a city that runs 170 kilometers end to end.

A nationwide portfolio of 16 integrated entertainment destinations as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 push to build a new leisure economy. Each destination brings together family attractions and immersive experiences, go-karting, bowling, multiplex cinemas, sports and adventure zones, alongside dining and retail within a single walkable environment. A computationally-enabled modular digital kit of parts allows every destination to be tailored to the culture, climate and setting of its city while sharing a common architectural language and delivery system.

Riyadh’s premier lifestyle center aligns with a regional shift away from enclosed, large-scale mixed-use developments toward more open, inclusive, regionally reflective design. The space’s many outdoor areas eliminate the need for costly cooling, instead encouraging more physical connection to the outdoor environment. As the city and region continue to expand, these foundations ensure the space can adapt to future increases in both the volume and variety of visitors.

The project encompasses a regional transport hub, which includes a significant bus interchange, an office tower, a national library, a community center as well as a sports stadium with a new, quiet public realm built over existing elevated train tracks. This “Park in the Sky” is intertwined with the public-serving facilities while providing open space for the occupants of the LTA's new HQ tower.
